By day, Ingvild is an educator; by evening and weekend, she’s a passionate dance artist. Her journey with Brazilian zouk began in 2011, a moment that would change her dance trajectory forever. When she discovered this captivating dance style, zouk was virtually unknown in Oslo. Undeterred, Ingvild took matters into her own hands, inviting international artists to Norway and single-handedly cultivating a vibrant zouk community.
🌸 A Legacy of Dance
Her dance credentials are nothing short of impressive. Ingvild has danced alongside zouk legends like Adilio Porto (considered the “father” of zouk) and collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Junior Carvalho, Mafie Zouker, and Jakub Jakoubek. She’s not just an instructor – she’s a dance ambassador who has transformed the Norwegian dance landscape.
